Product Architect - OMNIPlus

Description

* The Product Architect will develop, analyze, and trouble shoot the TOPS environment as part of the TOPS Production Support Infrastructure group.
* Analyze performance and capacity issues with systems/application software.
* Assist the TOPS production support team in conjunction with the IT architecture group.
* Creating and developing system protocols for the Sungard platform.
* Participate in JCL reviews with the TOPS production support development team.
* Develop and enhance positive relationships within the IT system operational community.
* Responsible for understanding Business requirements as it relates to the TOPS infrastructure.
* Monitor the unified stream looking for ways to improve run times.

Qualifications

* Have experience working in a fast paced IT environment.
* Have a minimum requirement of 5+ years of OMNIPlus experience REQUIRED, 3 to 5 Cobol experience and 3 to 5 of JCL experience.

Candidates with 2 to 3 years of Oracle experience is a plus.

* Financial service company knowledge would be a plus.
* Experience in data handling and data manipulation is a plus.
* Ability to create innovative solution to add value to existing process.
* Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively and accurately.
* Work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
