> MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Assist and provide input with the implementation of Microsoft
> Dynamics 2009 for Financials and Reporting Services. Provide day
to
> day production support once implemented and assist with the
> implementation of new modules as identified. Duties include but
are
> not limited to:
> • Provide development and support of Microsoft Dynamics.
> • Confer and work closely with business analysts and the
client
> community to design, configure and develop system functionality
for
> Travel and Hospitality industry on Microsoft Dynamics AX.
> • Confer with end users and verify configuration including
> Chart of account design, finance configuration, AP and AR
> configuration, Bank reconciliation setup, Purchasing and Inventory
> Management.Work with development team to assist with defining
> detailed program specifications, perform troubleshooting, problem
> analysis and resolution.
> • Coordinate and facilitate system, integration and users
> tests.Verify and audit transactions from internally developed
> (customer facing) tools.Assist with defining and creating
reporting
> needs for user community.
> • Communicate and document pre and post-implementation
support
> issues and escalating to the appropriate IT staff.
> • Gather statistics and prepare and write reports on the
status
> of the programming process for discussion with management and/or
team
> members.
> • Determine, develop, and maintain user manuals and
guidelines.
> Install software products for end users as required.
> • Liaise with company's software and hardware suppliers for
> prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies.
> • Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts,
> programmers, and other developers to resolve any defects in
products
> or company systems.
>
> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
> • Technical and functional competence and experience in
> software development.
> • Minimum 3 years experience administering ERP (ex. MS
Dynamics
> AX or SAP), CRM or similar enterprise applications in a 3-tier
> environment.
> • Broad knowledge of related infrastructure, tools and
services
> in support of SQL Server databases such as SANs, backup
technologies,
> database administration, and business continuity.
> • Demonstrate professionalism and ability to collaborate
with
> others. Ability to work closely with internal customers
> • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation
> skills are required.
>
> DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
> • Working knowledge and familiarity with the following
tools,
> * .Net,* ASP,* Java,* C++, SQL, SQL Server, X++ is highly
desirable.
> • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other
mid-
> market ERP solutions is highly desirable.
> • In-depth functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is
> highly desirable, and must be able to apply such knowledge to help
> solve internal business requirements and issues.
