TITLE: Business Intelligence - Systems Analyst
WORK ROLE: "Overall Purpose"
Business Intelligence analyst who is responsible for requirements gathering,
process analysis, system analysis, data modeling, data analysis, data
mapping, system requirements and system test for data warehouse systems
supporting a variety of business groups as project needs dictate.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Data analysis and mapping
* Systems analysis and requirements
* Data warehouse testing
* Telecommunications
GENERAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
.Must be able to work in a team environment yet be self-directed, proactive
and action-oriented
.Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
.Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively
managing schedule and communicating progress
.Must be able to initiate action and drive issues to resolution.
.Must offer suggestions & evaluations of potential solutions to business
problems.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
.Must have working knowledge in telecommunications domains: order entry,
workflow, service activation
.Must be strong in SQL and data analysis
.Experience with DDL, PL/SQL and Oracle Tools (SQL*Loader, Import/Export) is
a plus
.Must be have working knowledge in data modeling and modeling tools like
ERWIN
.Must be strong in gathering business requirements, performing systems
analysis, specifying data mappings and writing system requirements
.Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Ab Initio or DTS/SSIS is a plus
.Must be strong in writing and executing test cases in a data warehouse
context
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree or equivalent.
