insurance industry. We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer for
our Colorado Springs office:

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Under general direction, designs, codes, test,
installs and maintains software programs. Identifies and evaluates
tailoring requirements for implementation and integration with
client supplied software systems. Evaluates the performance of
installed software by utilizing available aids to monitor trends,
loads and growth patterns. Trains internal and external clients on
the use o software programs. Provides technical assistance to other
internal departments regarding the use and problem resolution of
software programs. Analyzes specifications for application
enhancements. Assists less experienced software engineers. Provides
as required on customer site technical support for implementation,
integration, and acceptance testing.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports To: LifeSuite Chief Architect
Peers: Sr. Software Engineers Primary Working Relationships:

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develops or modifies software products and/or
customer applications using object oriented web development in C#,
ASP.Net, XML and JavaScript. 2. Will work on multiple projects
providing development and maintenance. 3. Under general direction,
designs and implements code, and maintain software programs. 4.
Under general direction, performs unit testing on developed modules.
5. Under general direction, analyzes specifications for applications
enhancements and develops technical design specifications. 6.
Completes other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A Bachelors Degree in Computer
Science or equivalent education in a related discipline is required.
Related work experience can be substituted for educational
requirement.

Job Related Experience: Typically requires five yrs programming
and /or analyst or related experience.

Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: 1. An excellent knowledge of
programming to include: Three plus years (current) working
experience with web development with MS Tools. Five plus years
object-oriented software development. Two plus years of C#
programming. Two plus years of experience working with XML and
JavaScript Three plus years of Java is highly desirable Insurance
industry experience and/or experience with Acord standards are a
plus. 2. An excellent knowledge of how the pieces of a program fit
together for the purpose of meeting the requirements of an
application. 3. An excellent knowledge of how to document program
design, coding, and maintenance. 4. An excellent understanding of
how critical project completion is to client satisfaction. 5. A
strong knowledge of the relationship of how the software being used
relates to the hardware being used.

commecrial insurance industry. We are looking to hire an Information
Systems Security Analyst to join our IT department. This position
can work out of any of the following Fiserv locations: Denver, CO,
Oakland, CA, Worthington, OH or Cedar Rapids, IA.

This position requires up to 25% annual travel.

Expected Contributions to the Role:
The Information Systems Security Analyst will be responsible for the
ongoing management of information security policies, procedures, and
technical systems in order to maintain the confidentiality,
integrity, and availability of all P&C organizational information
systems.

Expected Contributions to the Department and Company:
The Information Systems Security Analyst will function in a primary
role as Fiserv Insurance Solutions Security Officer. The individual
will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enforcing
information security directives as mandated by the Fiserv Security
Framework. The individual will be required to manage daily security
operations in support of local and regionally distributed network
hardware and systems to include user services, security management,
configuration management and network application integration
support. The Information Systems Security Analyst will lead or
assist in the development of network architecture designs, changes,
and configuration management in support of information technology
security initiatives; conduct technical evaluations, and make
recommendations to the Information Technology group.

Job Responsibilities:
•Ensure that the access control, disaster recovery, business
continuity, incident response, and risk management needs of the
organization are properly addressed

•Ensure the ongoing integration of information security with
business strategies and requirements

•Lead information security awareness and training initiatives to
educate workforce about information risks

•Perform and or support risk assessments and audits to ensure that
information systems are adequately protected and meet Fiserv's
Security Framework certification requirements

•Work with vendors, outside consultants, and other third parties to
improve information security within the organization

•Lead an incident response team to contain, investigate, and prevent
computer security breaches.

•Collaborate on issue resolution with technical staff and provide
support to cross functional information management teams

•Document engineering standards and proposals

•Instrumental in knowledge transfer and training of team members

•Train team members on the enterprise infrastructure security

•Provide cross functional support to the Systems Engineering and
Professional Services organizations

Job Requirements:
Years of Experience: Minimum of 4 years IS security or related
experience

Skills and Knowledge:
•Experienced in the management of both physical and logical
information security systems

•Strong technical skills in application and operating system
hardening, vulnerability assessments, security audits TCP/IP,
intrusion detection systems

•Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

•Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the
ability to work independently

•Excellent documentation skills

Education/Certifications/Training:
•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; related work
experience can be substituted for educational requirement

•Masters Degree preferred

Desired Characteristics/Competencies

•CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
certification

•Ability to weigh business risks and enforce appropriate information
security measures

time Business Analyst to join our Professional Services team located
in our Denver, Colorado office.

This position will require significant travel, approximately 50% of
the time. In most instances travel is confined to the normal work
week, but in some situations may require weekend travel.


Position Summary

This Business Analyst role is for the PowerSuite Insurance Products
line, which is a premier Workers' Compensation Insurance Management
system. The Business Analyst is responsible for providing expertise
in a number of areas as a client facing member of project teams. The
work will be conducted in conjunction with new projects as well as
providing support for clients that are already in production.
Because this is a frontline project role, extensive travel to the
client sight will be required. The typical travel commitment is
approximately 50% but is not consistently distributed on alternate
weeks.

A primary role of the Business Analyst will be in eliciting and
documenting detailed business requirements from both clients and
prospective clients. As such, the candidate will need to have
excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively
lead group meetings and draw out detailed business requirements from
business users of the software. In turn, the Business Analyst will
need to define and document explicit and concise written business
requirements and present those to both the client and internal
development and quality assurance team members, and work with all
three groups in the realization and implementation of these
requirements.

The Business Analyst will provide guidance and direction to the
client in designing and delivering test plans and provide
assistance, both internally and externally, in the execution of
those plans. This will include extensive testing of the application,
analysis of the results and documentation of the issue and expected
resolutions and work with development staff in resolving those
issues. As a part of the testing and analysis the Business Analyst
will work with database query tools and data models to troubleshoot
and analyze test results.

Additionally, the Business Analyst will be work with clients in
defining the appropriate configuration of the system for
installation, including: system settings, documents, security and
workflow. Must have the ability to work with minimal guidance and
effectively balance numerous, changing responsibilities.


Job Responsibilities

• Assist in modeling of business processes
• Define and Document business requirements using Use Cases and
Enhancement Change Requests
• Develop coherent requirement specifications for business
functional requirements including business processes, system flows
and business rules
• Develop clear, comprehensive, complete and accurate requirements
specifications including supporting documentation such as Flowcharts
and Supplementary Specifications, suitable for both business users
and the development team
• Analyze and produce updates to requirements and designs as the
result of scope changes
• Provide input to project estimation process
• Advise and assist development team in interpretation of
requirements and design specifications
• Assist Clients in development and execution of system test
scenarios
• Assist Clients and Quality Assurance in review and documentation
of system issues


Job Requirements

Years of Experience: 3-5 years work-related experience in analysis
or design of complex business software application requirements and
specifications


Skills and Knowledge:
• Good domain expertise and depth of insurance industry experience
in functional areas and lines of business relevant to Fiserv's
strategy
• Knowledge of Use Case modeling
• Knowledge of Rational Unified Process Tools including Requisite
Pro, SoDa, Rational Rose
• Advanced Proficiency with desktop applications (Outlook mail and
calendaring, MS Office applications)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Detail-oriented
• Working knowledge of business modeling, requirements and analysis
& design disciplines in RUP and of overall iterative software
development lifecycle
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Education/Certifications/Training: Bachelor's degree in computer
science, business and/or related field required

Desired Characteristics/Competencies

• FLMI, CPCU or equivalent
• Experience utilizing ClearCase and StarTeam
• Some familiarity with database models and query tools
• Workers' Compensation or P & C Insurance solutions background
preferred
