This role is targeted at managing the CET technical landscape, specifically as it pertains to enterprise-scale applications/solutions. The role will design, implement, and operate systems and software architectures that support core organizational functions. This individual will focus on product operability, reliability, and other key operations drivers including high availability, capacity management, performance, usability, problem management, and end to end monitoring; recommending hardware and software configurations and solutions; defining, implementing, improving, and measuring technical and operations systems success metrics; optimizing ongoing technical operations across application teams
Responsibilities:

-Coordinate product selection requirements definition, research technology options to address, establish evaluation criteria, manage evaluation of technologies, make recommendations.
-Define and deliver system and operational requirements including operations roles responsibilities definition, operations testing, operations training, end to end monitoring, methods procedures and more
-Interacting with operations personnel to define clear and attainable objectives and timelines for technical implementations.
-Conduct and lead design activities including logical network design, server topology, application design, database design, DR/HA design, and environment placement.
-Provide reporting on key efficiency and effectiveness metrics for infrastructure initiatives.
-Track operational effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy of deliverables and improve where appropriate
-Act as the primary liaison to coordinate all infrastructure and operations delivery items and serve as an operational quality gate.
-Define, deliver, and manage customer experience monitoring capabilities for core applications and services including performance, availability, transactions, and more.

This position will be responsible for supporting the QA processes by setting up, maintaining, regression testing, and troubleshooting the NGT production and test environments and related customer support tickets. The successful candidate will work closely with the quality assurance and development teams to identify both problems and proposed solutions while learning the NGT OSS architecture and operating environment. The position will be responsible for the configuration and support of NGT-powered/NGT-supported OSS solutions as well as the internal/external interfaces with other systems. This may require interaction with external vendors and/or customers. In addition to maintaining the application environments, this person will be responsible for version control of documents and software releases. This person will also participate in the after-hours support schedule for the NGT OSS system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position are as follows:
Configure and support NGT OSS and NGT-powered OSS. Includes the management, maintenance, setup, and modification of continuous build environments. This will involve troubleshooting with the different vendor applications that interface with the NGT system.
Manage tickets and solutions related to the NGT production OSS environment. Includes identifying cause, proposing and implementing solutions.
Support the QA team during system test cycle. This includes performing test cases and reporting issues as directed by QA Engineers.
Develop and maintain a Regression Test Suite of the NGT OSS and NGT-powered OSS.
Work with the QA Team to develop a comprehensive, repeatable, measureable Regression Test Suite for each NGT OSS release.
Perform on-demand support tasks. Includes being a team player and supporting the organization as needed.
