RTP's fun-loving, hard-working Software Development team is looking for a .NET developer to lead large and small development efforts for various RTP customers, prospects, and products. This position will have responsibility for designing and developing different components of functionality and will work with multiple teams, including: .NET development, quality assurance, technical documentation, project management/business analysis, as well as with other organizations outside the development team to implement cutting-edge solutions. This position will have a focus on user interface design, therefore significant experience in that area is desired.
This position will report to the Director of .NET Development and will be located in Avon, CO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Define and document the design of functionality through use cases, business process flows, UI design and UML modeling.
•Work with SQL Architects to define and develop high performance, scalable data models and stored procedure components in a SQL Server architecture.
•Work with other internal resources to develop functionality following existing style and coding standards.
•Develop both C# .NET user interface (winforms and ASP.NET webform), component tier and SQL Server stored procedure components.
•Interact with customers and prospects to review designs, demo prototypes and address issues.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
•5+ years experience with C#, XML and SQL programming and development, full product lifecycle development, and support methodologies.
•Experience developing enterprise software applications in an n-tier architecture for a software products company.
•5+ years experience with Visual Studio 2008 and C# .NET both ASP.NET and winform.
•Working knowledge of MS Office.
•Development experience in a software company.
•Knowledge of the resort/hospitality industry desired.
•Knowledge of some aspects of resort operations standards and procedures desired.
•Desire to contribute to making great new products and services as well as extending our existing offerings.
•B.S. in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience, is required.
