The consumer broadband service delivers affordable two-way Internet access via satellite to virtually any home or small business, especially the estimated 11.5 million homes not connected to wired networks, such as DSL, cable, and fiber. Sr. Software Engineer responsibilities include the following:
* Partner with the Software Architect and Systems Analyst in design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of software applications to satisfy business requirements.
* Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies.
* Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
* Works closely with business analysts to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
* Researches and evaluates alternative solutions/vendor products and makes recommendations.

* Middleware - Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle SOA Suite
* SQL and familiarity with database application development
* UNIX development experience
