Job Description:

DataLogix is looking for an Associate IT Ops Engineer to join our IT Organization. This position will work with business partners to resolve Tier 1 escalations (internally developed application support) for our database analysis functions (developing Oracle and MS SQL Server scripts and packages), light C# development, escalation workflow management, communications routing and Event Management functions within the IT Operations department. We offer on-site training with opportunity for advancement within DataLogix. Ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development.

Required Skills
Skills and Qualifications:

*Bachelors degree in Computer Science with experience using the .NET or Java platforms
*Experience with the following C# or Java constructs: classes, methods, Namespaces, Assemblies, inheritance, and delegates
*Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting skills in an environment of computers on the Microsoft Windows and UNIX/LINUX operating system platforms
*Some Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL experience is highly desired
*Microsoft Office platform including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Must be adaptable and flexible
*Must learn quickly and take initiative
