Summary
The BI Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the value provided by the Reporting & Analytics product set. This person's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: importing/exporting models, creating data models, adding new data items (such as new fields to existing tables and / or adding new tables), establishing object relationships within the model, creating and maintaining calculations, filters, and the meta-data repository. Moreover, this person will assist fellow R&A team members in gathering and clarifying reporting requirements to design, create, QA and produce reports for cross-functional associates (e.g. Account & Clinical Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Pharmacy Operations, Customer Care et.al). The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, can successfully manage multiple reporting projects and be able to collaborate with all levels within the organization.

Build the R&A report suite model base off of Sybase IQ and SQL Server databases. Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree (computer science or math preferred)
Experience and Skill Requirements
* 3-5 years of Congnos experience with an emphasis in using Framework Manager
* 1-2 years PBM industry experience, or commensurate healthcare experience preferred
* 3-5 years reporting and analysis experience (preferably healthcare)
* 3-5 years of advanced SQL and database relationship experience
* Ability to perform complex analyses to diagnose system problems, trends and determine necessary corrective action
* Proven ability to convey technical concepts (verbal and written) to persons with varying backgrounds
* Proven ability to work independently
* Proven ability to build rapport and trust with all levels within the organization

SUMMARY
The candidate will provide senior level system administrative support for hardware, OS and 3rd party utilities for multiple UNIX and Linux environments. This position is responsible for achieving overall technical integrity of the UNIX and SAN-based storage environments. He/she will provide technical advice, counsel and assistance to programmers and analysts for the diagnosis of major programming problems, determination of system failures and related complex issues; identify, analyze and resolve system deficiencies; assist technical staff in the system generation planning and programming systems planning as required; recommend inclusion of existing options in the programming system which would increase serviceability and reliability; act as an internal consultant and mentor other staff in such areas as diagnostic techniques; problem identification and determination, programming systems generation, corrective procedures, use of tools/aids and the use/preparation of documentation and reports.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline
Certifications in IBM Hardware, Software, and other UNIX Platforms beneficial
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
” A minimum of 5-7 years proven experience as an UNIX Systems and SAN Administrator and have experience with some or most of the environments listed below:
” IBM Power Systems Virtualization technology (LPAR/micropartitioning) AIX 5.3/6.x
” Virtual I/O Server including redundant virtual SCSI and Network (SEA)
” IBM Power5 510, 520, and Power6 570 servers
” IBM Bladecenters
” IBM System X servers
” IBM DS4000/DS5000/DS6000/DS8000 installation, configuration, and tuning
” IBM System Director
” Oracle/AIX Tuning methodology and testing
” Unix shell scripting and network configuration related to servers
” Flashcopy replication services
” OS specific Logical Volume Manager
” Tivoli Storage Manager 5.x/6.x backup system with Windows/AIX/Linux/OSX Clients
” Tivoli Storage Manager for Database backups handling Oracle 9/10/11, DB2 v8/9
” Tivoli Directory Server for LDAP authentication
” Tivoli Workload Scheduler
” Tivoli Productivity Center report generation and performance analysis
Additional skills and requirements
” Must understand and implement OS security best practices
” Must be familiar with Multiple Unix and Linux environments. Experience in an OLTP environment is a significant benefit.
