CableLabs, located in Louisville, CO, is looking for a strong,
adaptable, self-starter with experience in wireless technologies such
as: Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE, LTE Advanced, WCDMA, and HSPA+. The candidate
have proven expertise with 802.11x (including authentication and
authorization), advanced cellular architecture, such as: 3GPP EPC, SON,
GTP and mobile IP (e.g., CMIPv6, PMIPv6, DSMIP), and technologies
essential to mobile networks including: SC-FDMA, OFDMA, and MIMO. This
individual must demonstrate the ability to tackle complex problems
requiring in-depth analysis and provide creative technical solutions.
This role presents various opportunities: technology development,
contributions to specifications and standards, collaboration across
internal and external teams, and software development.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Masters or equivalent in Wireless Networks or closely related
field.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in cellular and wireless
architectures (see above), and IP networking
· Experience and knowledge in legacy cellular technologies
(e.g., GSM and CDMA)
· Reasonable understanding of application layer protocols (e.g.,
SIP)
· Experience with protocol modeling tools (e.g., ns-2 or OPNET
Modeler®) is desired
· Software development experience (e.g., mobile applications) is
desired
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time and task management; and inter-personal skills
* Willingness to travel when required
