The position will require an in depth understanding of the Microsoft Hosting Solution. The ideal candidate will be a proven technical leader with solid operating system administration skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while working in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
What does the job entail?
Administration of Windows 2003 / 2008 servers in a hosted environment.
Working with development and testing staff to identify requirements and implement solutions.
The position requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and the individual must possess a structured, methodical approach to systems administration.
Documenting processes and procedures
Deploying and maintaining Windows IIS 6/7
SSL certificate installation, configuration, and backups.
Patch management and host hardening.
Investigating and deploying new Windows based technologies
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Up to date Windows MCSE certification preferred.
At least 4 years working in IT.
At least 2 years working as a Windows Engineer.
Experience with Windows scripting technologies such as WMI, WSH, ADSI, VBS and PowerShell.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding customer service and interaction skills
Must work well under sustained pressure

WSUS Administration and Maintenance
Windows OS and Active Directory planning, administration, and security
Knowledge of Opsware and/or other Server Automation Technology
Knowledge of Networking, Routing and Switching Technologies
Server Virtualization Technologies
SAN and NAS technologies (iSCSI, FCP, CIFS, NFS, etc)
