Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, configuration/development, and maintenance of high-impact, high-exposure Siebel applications.
Will be involved in requirements gathering phase and will translate business requirements to detailed design specifications.
Create Detailed Designs related to Siebel Applications using Siebel Tools. Designs will include use of: Custom Integration Objects; Custom Business Services; Business Components; Database extension tables and columns; Custom Workflow processes; Business Rules using Siebel eScript; Data mapping between Siebel and external applications through CTI, EAI, and or EIM interfaces; Analytics Reports.
Configuration/modification of Siebel Applications per Detailed Design.
Performs Unit Tests, Peer Code Reviews, and Documents modifications made to the Siebel Applications.
Responsible member of the Siebel Operations Support Team. Will have rotational, on-call duties for Tier II and III support of the Siebel application.
Responsible for knowledge transfer/ cross-training with other members of Siebel Application Development Staff.

Qualifications:
5+ years application development experience
5 years of experience with Siebel Development tools, which should also include strong experience with Oracle RDBMS /PL-SQL concepts.
Understands the Siebel application's Core Functionality, Data Structure, and Data Model.
1 year of expertise in Siebel Tools version 8.0 plus several years experience with the older Siebel 7.x versions.
The candidate should be experienced in the software development life cycle and may be involved with requirements gathering, technical design, unit testing and documentation.
Expert in modifying Siebel Workflows, Applets/Views, Business Components, Business Services, and applications using e-Scripting, to suit to business requirements.
Expertise with the data structure/model of Siebel Sales/CRM system(s) is mandatory.
Experience to include implementation of Siebel EAI to ERP, Billing, and other Enterprise Applications.
Understands Siebel application's performance goal and metrics.
Siebel Analytics and or Siebel CTI experience preferred.
Siebel application performance tuning in a large enterprise implementation ( > 1 Terabyte OLTP Data) experience is a plus.
Professional Website GUI Development is a plus.
