Colorado Housing and Finance Authority - Business Systems Analyst

Nature of Position:
This person will provide application configuration and design, requirements analysis, system testing, user training, and ongoing support and enhancements of the CHFA enterprise document management solution (OnBase). This person will also lead large-scale enterprise initiatives to bring advanced imaging solutions to CHFA
Essential Functions:

Functional

· Conduct business discovery with stakeholders to determine business needs

· Evaluate business processes to define functional requirements

· Develop understanding of OnBase product suite and consult with the business to recommend best uses of the application.

Participate in CHFA’s Enterprise Records Management group to establish an enterprise taxonomy that includes standard document naming convention and record retention guidelines.
Provide project management for CHFA’s ECM projects including large, enterprise strategic ECM projects
Manage third party vender relationships


Technical

Develop and maintain document classifications schemes
Install, license and configure components
Diagnose and troubleshoot production support issues related to imaging and OnBase – including both hardware and software issues. Work collaboratively to resolve issues.
Proponent for software change requests to address necessary enhancements and software errors impacting successful solution implementations
Tailor application security within OnBase
Identify best practices and challenges associated with configuring OnBase
Training / Support

Provide ongoing support for 150 users that rely on OnBase for document retrieval.
Monitor the daily work of CHFA’s Integrated Records Management team to ensure successful scanning operations
Provide custom OnBase training courses tailored to different audiences
Document CHFA’s OnBase solution
Other

Perform other duties as assigned.
Work independently with high-level direction from CHFA’s Solutions Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must Possess:

Proficient knowledge of document management technologies including scanners
Experience in a Microsoft environment, and a competent understanding of networking
Strong technical aptitude, including a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot applications
Strong customer service skills
Self-motivated, driven individual with a high standard of professionalism
Demonstrate an ability to solve technical issues
Demonstrate an ability to explain things at various levels of complexity
Effectively teach a variety of people each with unique learning requirements Knowledge of best practices and procedures related to custom software development and the software development lifecycle
Knowledge of project management practices
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Ability to adhere to security standards related to financial services applications.
Ability to set priorities to assure completion of work within established time frames.
Education and Experience:


Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. (Equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirements).
Three (3) years previous work experience in analyzing, designing, and programming enterprise document management applications in an medium-sized enterprise environment
Experience in system administration of a large, complex document database with scanned images
Experience with Hyland software’s OnBase product strongly preferred
Knowledge and training on the use of content management technologies and tools
Experience working in the financial services industry and knowledge of related business processes.
Preferred certifications: AIIM ECM Practitioner, AIIM ERM Practitioner, CDIA, A+, CCA, OCSA
