Senior Web Designer
Webroot Software is seeking a Senior Web Designer to join our Web
Production Team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has extensive
experience conceptualizing and creating online design solutions from
inception to completion. As a member of the web production team the
senior designer will work with the Production Manager, Creative
Director, Marketing staff and internal customers to help establish and
propagate an online, award-winning brand look-and-feel. This individual
will focus on online design providing development and execution of web
site assets to help build and maintain a best-in-class worldwide web
presence. Specific responsibilities and requirements include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Translate brand & corporate identity into all areas of our
online presence.
* Provide thought leadership in architecting and producing both
short and long-term design vision for customer-facing and transactional
Web experiences.
* Create and deliver clean, innovative web assets.
* Determine task flow, navigational schemes, and general web page
functionality.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* 10+ years experience in Design, Web design and development.
* Strong eye for visual design and ability to communicate
high-level design strategies and concepts as well as detailed design
direction.
* Strong HTML and Web design skills, proficient with Adobe
CS3/CS4, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash.
* Keen eye for design with proven ability to communicate with
customers.
* Exhibit visual and technical problem-solving skills with ability
to resolve issues encountered by different browser platforms to create a
Universal web product
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects
at one time and meet aggressive deadlines
* Bachelor's degree in Graphic/Web Design, Communications or
equivalent
