Position Description
Responsible for supporting Oracle database stability among McKesson
customers including assisting with planning and administering complex
databases.. Help customers ensure accuracy, completeness, and stability
of data in master files. Work with customers to develop and implement
recommended Best Practices and leverage tools to optimize up-time and
availability of the database to mission-critical clinical applications.
Support customer migrations and upgrades during application release
cycles.


Minimum Requirements
*6+ years experience in database administration
*In-depth knowledge of database definition, structure, documentation,
referential integrity best practices, long range requirements planning,
operational guidelines and protection
*Exposure to UNIX, Linux System architecture and commands
*Strong working knowledge of SQL
*RAC experience, including ASM
*Strong understanding of Oracle internals, administration skills with
9i, 10g
*SQL tuning a plus
*PLSQL a plus
*Strong Backup / Recovery knowledge with RMAN/user-managed backups
*Understanding of distributed application environments preferred
*Ability to quickly learn new, complex technologies
*Effective verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to prioritize and demonstrate time management skills
*Healthcare industry experience a plus
*Ability to work effectively with customers in high-pressure situations
*Flexible schedule to allow for pager rotation
*Good interpersonal skills
*Ability to work on a team and independently


Education
* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in diagnosing and
troubleshooting software and/or customer service on computer systems.

Position Description Responsible for all aspects of the
development/implementation of a systems deployment effort involving day

etc¿ focused on the delivery of an effective software deployment

Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from
original concept through final implementation. Plans and directs
schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the
product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing
with all stakeholders. Assesses project issues and develops plans and
mitigation strategies to meet project deliverables. Develops detailed
work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and
status reports.

Manages the integration of internal teams, and tracks and reviews action
items, dependencies, and risks. For action items, risks, and issues owns
clearly defining owners, mitigation plans, and due dates.


Minimum Requirements
**5+ years experience in planning, managing, and delivering technical
projects.
**Significant experience in the management of complex projects that span
multiple development teams.
**Experience employing Agile development practices such as SCRUM,
preferred
**Technical background knowledge and experience working in environments
that utilize Oracle and Linux is a plus.


Education
**Prefer a background in computer science or related field or equivalent
experience
**PMI certification highly desired

Position Description
Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software
development procedures used to verify that programs function according
to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines. Writes,
revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program
design and product evaluation to ascertain quality of software.

Reviews new or modified program, including documentation, diagram, and
flowchart, to determine if program will perform according to user
request and conform to guidelines. May review computer operating log to
identify program processing errors. Tests program for validity of
results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to establishment
standards.

May identify differences between establishment standards and user
applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards. May
conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs.


Minimum Requirements
* 4+ years experience in software and/or program testing.


Additional Knowledge & Skills
In need of an experienced Software Test Engineer to join a team
responsible for the test and integration of Healthcare applications
supporting real-world, time-sensitive requirements. You will be involved
in Integration and Test activities for a distributed simulation
capability system that supports a large number of platforms and
frameworks across a wide range of applications.

Other duties include:
* Help evolve, execute and manage test plans and procedures;
* Participate in the management and troubleshooting of complex,
integrated application systems;
* Hands-on role in running system and integration tests, both within the
Integration test team and with other test teams across the organization;
* Participate in technical exchanges with internal team and
cross-functional team members and external organizations;
* Create detailed documentation of test reports, test cases and test
results.

Required Skills:
* 5+ years systems integration and testing experience.

* Capable of hands-on and command line work in mixed Linux, Unix, and
Windows environments, along with experience working with Oracle
databases and PL/SQL or SQL.

* Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to document in detail your
work and results.

* Experience with Software Testing Tools

* Some knowledge of VMware systems will be beneficial.

* Knowledge of HL7 messaging is strongly desired

* Experience working closely with software and database developers, and
also working with project planning and product management.

* Required Education (including Major): B.S., Computer Science,
Information Systems, or related technical degree.
