Have you ever thought about writing code to break code? Would you like to use your SQL and JUNIT skills to write your ticket to success? If you answered yes to both of these questions, then you should be applying for our Software Engineer in Test position.
We are looking for someone to develop automation testing on web applications (functionality, performance, and security). We need a leader for the selection and implementation of tools for both white-box and black-box testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Are you?
Someone with the initiative to create an automation testing platform for web development? You will get to research the tools, build the system, and implement its design. You are in control! Want accountability, responsibility, and recognition? This is your opportunity.
Do you heve the following skills/background?
• JUnit and SQL (required)
• Experience with various Software Development LifeCycles.
• Experience developing custom Java test harnesses.
• Working knowledge of CEA-2014, Webkit, or LAMP standards and/or structures.

Are you able to look at challenges from both a developer and a tester's viewpoint? Are you a good communicator? Want to work in a laid-back, highly collaborative environment?
Here's what we expect of you:
• Design and build automated test suites for both front-end GUI's as well as backend verification of large-scale, complex data systems.
• Ability to transform written/verbal test cases into automated test scripts.
• Creation and maintenance of functional and technical design documents.
• Continually and effectively communicate strategy and progress to company management and project teams.
• Remain current on new test automation tools and test automation methodologies and communicate trends and opportunities to management as appropriate.
• Project coordination skills and ability to monitor test progress and resolve failures.

Skills and Qualifications
Education: BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or at least a 4 Year Degree in a related field; and/or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: 3+ years design, development, and test related experience. iPhone/iTouch application development experience preferred.
Programming Skills: JUnit, SQL (required)
JavaScript, MySql, HTML, and CSS (preferred)
