The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for one or more service areas and will be expected to have the Technical expertise as well as the necessary people skills to implement and effectively manage the automated testing processes both onsite and offshore if applicable, in a hands on capacity. The Lead's responsibilities range from requirements gathering, analysis and implementation of best practices solutions tailored to the organizations unique needs.
Skills
• At least 8 years experience in the design and development of complex IP networks, or network based products or services.
• At least 3 years experience leading a development team through the entire product development lifecycle.
• Hands on experience with networked video or video compression
• Solid background in Cisco IOS and relevant routing protocols.
• Strong intuition for network analysis and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• A passion for design and a drive to get the details right.
• A dedication to customer satisfaction.
• BS Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a small network design team to build and optimize network designs
• Recommend best practices, methods and procedures for network design and usage
• Collaborate closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure high quality and requirements compliance.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to continually refine process and best practices.
• Assist program managers with customer communication as needed.
• Work with solution architects on effective product design.
• Work with project managers to manage resource availability.
• Ensure that outsourced projects pass in-house acceptance testing.
• Ensure deployment process is followed for hosted applications.
• Manage on-site contractors as needed.
