I’m looking for a rock-star FAE to come in and hit the ground running for a client of mine in the GreenTech/CleanTech market. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical-level relationships with partner’s technical teams, and leading the early integration or proof-of-concept development of the partner’s technology with that of this client. A perfect mix of strong technical skills, which includes firmware and/or software development, project management skills, and excellent communication and relationship skills are required for this position. Duties
· Conduct early integration and/or proof of concept development, working closely with our partner engineering team
· Be the technical-level liaison between the partner engineering team and our engineering team for full life-cycle
· Conduct training on our APIs, developer tools/kits and/or integration of software/firmware libraries to partner’s technology
· Supply front-line escalation support for partner’s technical issues when they are beyond our standard product and related to early integration or proof of concept or the interface points
· Assist in indentifying opportunities to further extend our integration with our partner’s technology
· Assist in developing the technical aspects of our partnership program (certification programs and procedures)
· Be the front-line contact for our partnership developer community
· Administer technical project management in working with each partner, interacting with the Partner Manager & Business Development to manage the partner account
Requirements
· BSE/MSE or 7+ years related work experience
· 5+ years embedded firmware or enterprise software development roles
· Working knowledge of architecture/solution-level understanding of technology stack from enterprise software to embedded systems/firmware/hardware
· Wireless & Mesh communications protocols, including 802.15.4
· Web service APIs, including REST, WSDL
· Best practices in application development (embedded firmware & enterprise software areas)
· Travel required (up to 50%)
