Responsible for supervising application development projects, teams and activities to align Tri-State’s application software with corporate business objectives and information needs. This position is a combination of hands-on development and supervision.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related area, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
· Nine (9) years of progressive applications development programming experience and software engineering technologies. Expertise in modeling techniques, system design, software configuration management, and software quality assurance. Supervisory experience desired.
· Proven ability to supervise team members and lead projects, allocate resources, and coordinate project functions through all phases of the software methodology life cycle. Extensive knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
· Expertise in requirements engineering.
· Experience in designing and implementing software solutions for application integration.
· Ability to leverage information technologies to improve applications and information integration.
· Broad knowledge of Tri-State business processes. Understanding of business strategy and rationale.
· Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, and to lead and motivate work teams.
· Ability to act as agent of change. Must be able to work at abstract levels, to see the big picture and communicate that vision and direction to others.
