ZanderMax - Client Engagement Manager

With the smart-grid arrival upon us, I am looking for a talented Client Engagement Manager (CEM) for my client to develop the overall client relationship and secure additional revenues within current engagements. You will be accountable for contributing and directing a team of CEMs and analysts that apply and finish projects across multiple clients, functional departments, process teams and solutions areas. The ideal candidate will have a consulting services, client-facing & team management background. Work experience involving the implementation of large enterprise initiatives, managing client engagement relationships and developing new revenue streams are a plus. Duties:
- Ensure client satisfaction for all solution implementations and for every
client engagement by obtaining a positive reference from every client
- Uphold and increase revenue for each client; in conjunction with sales,
pursue establish and close opportunities to further penetrate accounts
- Apply and steward an efficient client engagement process,
encompassing early stage engagement to major product roll-out
- Put into service clearly-defined client performance project plans that
map successful completion of all deadlines, track results & other
essential functions of the client engagement
- Work with our internal project & program teams to ensure effective
processes are in place
- Administer all client expectations & key relationships, at all levels, to
ensure consistent team approach and solution quality across all
engagements
- Diagram and supervise the execution of quarterly team efforts, which
include day-to-day project management, issue & risk management,
scope management, statement of work acceptance, order fulfillment &
regular status reporting

Requirements:
- 10 years of management experience with a proven track record of
building an efficient team, and driving consulting services 7 revenues
through the efforts of the team; must have leadership capabilities to
manage & mentor the staff to meet quarterly goals
- 10+ years of client relationship management experience, with 5 years of
overall technical sales and/or consulting background.
- Work-experience in related technical project and program management
area managing large projects that involve the coordination of multiple
resources with senior management
- Possess the aptitude to credibly discuss both technical/business issues
and objectives, both internally and externally
- Proven track record of outstanding analytical, problem-solving skills
- Managed an enterprise CRM tool, SFDC preferred
- Possess compelling leadership & people skills - ability to build
exceptional relationships with clients and of course within our team
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize any issues/escalations, & manage
competing demands in a fast-paced environment (meet deadlines in all
phases of the delivery life cycle)
- Exemplary presentation & communication skills, verbal and written
- Demonstrate the ability to manage on-site and remote site resources
that are not in a direct chain of command and in a matrix environment
- Exhibited a strong understanding of technologies (software, hardware,
storage, network, etc)
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and is self-
motivated to set & meet lofty goals
- The ability to adapt, as necessary, to accommodate changes in
company direction
- Comfortable with travel (up to 50% or whatever client commitment
requires)
