C Sharp ASP Net Developer

Job Responsibilities
Meets with business partners to learn business processes, analyze requirements, and conduct research to determine if the best solution is custom functionality versus a third-party product.
Identifies and documents business processes and requirements, creates technical design documents, develops and tests solutions, troubleshoots and resolves application issues.
Develops, supports and enhances other applications, programs, and interfaces.
Collaborates, mentors, and cross-trains with a team of about 15 developers.
Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with staff, other departments, and management, dealing with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
Writes effectively, speaks clearly, both in person and by telephone, listens carefully and responds appropriately.
Maintains a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
Maintains a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
May be required to be available to respond during non-working hours, especially related to project deadlines and company emergencies.
Educational Requirements
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have demonstrated success and proficiency developing C# ASP.Net applications.
Proficient in C#, ASP.Net, XML, XSLT, Web Services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Telerik Controls, SQL Server and Oracle, Visual
Studio and Team Foundation Server, IIS.
Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.
Excellent communication and stellar customer service skills.
Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines, organize work effectively, reprioritize as new demands arise, and maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to work with a team, take general directions from several sources, focus attention on details and complete projects.
Wears many hats, welcomes new job assignments and responds to change with a positive outlook.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access, Excel.
Ability to successfully perform the required and expected duties with minimal direct supervision.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Visual Basic and Java programming experience.
Experience with SharePoint functionality and development.
PHP, SAP ABAP, Flash, Silverlight, Cold Fusion knowledge or keen ability to learn new programming languages and platforms.
BI experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Cognos, or other reporting tools.
Natural gas utility experience preferred.
