Overview:

LogRhythm is seeking a Product Manager to join the LogRhythm team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado.  As a member of the product management team, you will own the product lifecycle of new features from high level concept, authoring of marketing as well as technical requirements, go-to-market activities, and operational delivery.  Successful candidates will be comfortable interacting with customers, sales, marketing, and partners, translating their input into clear, concise and well prioritized requirements. In addition, successful candidates will build strong day-to-day working relationships with engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

    Work across the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning, day to day product development activities, SKU management, new product introductions, and end-of-life  activities.
    Collect customer, sales, market, and engineering input for the development of market and technical requirements, including associated use cases, problem statements, and personas.
    Development of market requirements for the company’s products, including identification of target market segments for a feature, market and opportunity sizing, and competitive landscape analysis.
    Support of sales opportunities as a product expert  by recommending solutions that satisfy the business need.
    Qualification and review of enhancement requests from customers.
    Facilitate the prioritization of development projects understanding the trade-offs between business benefit and cost/schedule.
    Work with the product management team to support the product roadmap development.

Qualifications:

Required

    Minimum 5 years of experience in a product management role for a software based  enterprise product
    Experienced in writing  both marketing as well as detailed product requirements
    Experienced managing both business and  technical aspects of OEM and strategic partner relationships
    Experienced in managing product pricing utilizing a variety of pricing schemes
    Ability to create and give presentations to a variety of audiences
    Experienced across product line life cycle activities including the coordination and execution of new product introduction, go-to-market release plans, product line transitions, and end-of-life tasks.

Valued Skills

    Background in network security or alternatively networking, network operations, or network management
    Strong knowledge of the OSI model, networking tools and technologies
    Experience with SalesForce
    Knowledge of federal government certification activities: FIPS, Common Criteria, UC APL
    Knowledge of Agile methodologies
    Previous experience in customer facing function (support, professional services, sales engineering)
    MBA is a plus
