Ping Identity is looking for a Senior Interaction Designer (IXD) to be the
lead on our PingOne and CloudDesktop product. Senior User Interaction
Designer will work closely with our product marketing and engineering team
to design new user experiences, creating concepts & wireframes, and write
functional specifications. As a senior UI Designer for the team, the
designer will take a very visible, senior role within the company as an
advocate for User Experience. You will work with the other department heads
to define a design process that emphasizes user-centered design and design
iteration and refinement.
The Sr. IXD will work within the 5 person UX team that also includes visual
design and UX research. You will also work cross-functionally with product
management and front-end engineering. Candidates should have experience
with interatcion design for interactive applications such as website
applications, desktop software, or mobile device applications. Experience
with both consumer and enterprise/corporate products is a plus. This role
will report to the Director of UX.
The ideal candidate is an independent and innovative thinker, with the
technical skill to understand the PingIdentity product, the identity space,
our competition, and our target users in IT (as well as end-users).
Job Functions:
•The IXD will be responsible for understanding requirements and creating
design concepts and wireframes that our UX engineers can use to create
user-testable prototypes.
•You will also be delivering organized written functional specifications
for engineering.
•Heavy collaboration with our UX Visual Designer to ensure that final
visual mockups are easy for users and feel fast, clean, and uncluttered.
•Collaborate with the UX Researcher on test plans, observe user testing,
and iterate designs based on research feedback.
