Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience in software engineering
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with health care industry including requirements gathering and/or systems analysis a plus
Has worked on software projects that were delivered to a customer other than the internal customers within the same company
Experience with SaaS development
Experience in a database development environment with one the following: Oracle, SQL Server
Experience in a formal development methodology (e.g. AGILE/Lean/Kanban is a plus)
Independent, resourceful and self-motivated. Strong analytical skills.
Business intelligence, analytics or big data experience a big plus.
Demonstrated analysis and data-driven problem solving skills
Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
