Arapahoe County Government is looking for the right individual to help implement our new Business Intelligence (BI) environment. Currently we have projects underway such as building a data warehouse environment from the ground floor and developing reporting for internal applications. This is an opportunity for the right candidate who is inspired by developing state of the art information technology systems to help build a fresh and energized IT system from almost scratch.
We are looking for an individual who has strong communication skills, solid report writing experience, a proven understanding of the data structures needed to support reporting and database development/administration skills. Desired skills include in-depth knowledge of business intelligence, as well as exposure to data warehousing.
As a Data Management Analyst / Report Writer you will help implement solutions that meet County customer's needs. To be successful you will need the ability to collaborate with team members, organize and accurately execute priorities to deliver customer defined requests.
The focus of this position is to achieve results through team collaboration by defining processes that implement organizational strategic goals. Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. This individual will work with County Offices and Departments to solve problems, and track progress in achieving goals and objectives to improve service to our citizens and internal clients.
Responsibilities may include interaction with end users and acting as a subject matter expert when designing reporting solutions or implementing solutions as directed. Will design, build, test, implement and support the reporting needs for a variety of customers within the county government. May be responsible for the outcome of solutions, providing advice, guidance and assistance to team members and end user areas on matters related to the analysis, design and implementation of automated information processing solutions.
The ideal candidate will not only possess the technical skills necessary for the position, but will also have the desire to elevate the environment to the next level of maturity.
