Purpose:
The Senior Application Developer is involved in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle ERP applications. On a daily basis they will collaborate with staff members, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to define customer requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
* The Sr. Software Engineer will provide technical architecture workflow, design, engineering, reporting and interface support to a dynamic company in support of their Oracle 11.5.10 implementation.
* Candidate will be required to support senior team members with the development and maintenance of the logical and physical data models for enterprise-wide capabilities in relation to Financials, OM, iModules and workflow development.
* Candidate will be required to help coordinate across organizations as required to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the Oracle Application implementation as well as custom extensions.
Experience Required:
* Experience in design, development, testing & deployment using OA Framework in Oracle Apps 11.5.10
* Experience in designing and developing Reports, Interfaces, Customizations and Extensions components in Oracle Apps environments
* Strong in OA Framework, PL/SQL
* Strong in Oracle Forms, Reports
* JDeveloper, Java/JSP a plus
* At least 5 years experience in Oracle Applications with 1 year experience in OA Framework; should have worked with Oracle iModules like OTL, iRecruitment, iProcrurement., SSHR
* Current experience in an 11.5.9 or 11.5.10 version environment
* Strong analysis and design skills with excellent verbal and written communication
* Proficient in creating and maintaining database objects * tables, views, packages, functions, procedures and triggers
* Familiar with change and configuration management methodologies, the Oracle AIM methodology, and project management techniques.
* Develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, conversion programs and custom functionality
* Ability to translate business requirements into Technical Specifications, unit test plans
* Ability to prepare detailed specifications, from which programs will be written, and design, code, test, debug and document programs
* Troubleshooting of production issues, performance tuning, coordinating with Oracle Support
* Responsible for interpreting functional specifications into technical design
* Responsible for defining, designing, developing, testing and maintaining interfaces and/or custom extensions using pl/sql
* Working with Oracle support and development to identify and resolve issues within the standard applications
* Responsible for design, development and testing of complex interfaces and extensions
* Candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, work well with others in an integrated team environment, and must be self-motivated.
* Experience with workflow development
* Prior experience performing database administration tasks
* Prior experience with XML schema development a plus
* Self-starter capable of working effectively with little supervision
