Description:
The systems administrator and team lead for this engagement will be
responsible for working with client management and customers to
initiate, complete, and present the results of our client?s
application and hardware assessments for their hospitals and clinics.
They will be handling multiple assessments at one time, and will also
be responsible for the other system administrators within the team and
their assessments
This will be a contract position which is scheduled to run through
December and potentially through the first part of 2009.
A Senior Systems Administrator and Team Lead has the following
qualifications:
Ability to work with Client representative to establish project
strategy and efficiency
Extensive experience in gathering, understanding and using appropriate
information regarding business processes related to customer needs
Systems Administration/Engineering knowledge of HP-UX, AIX and Linux
Red Hat; a strong understanding of application servers such as Apache,
JBoss, and WebLogic, as well as an understanding of how Oracle
databases interact with client server applications
Ability to work with network and systems design teams implementing
large LAN network design products
Advanced level of skill in one or more key technology areas, such as:
systems management, network management, router configuration, basic
WAN implementations, host connectivity, TCP/IP and Internet
Ability to present structured ideas and procedures with a broad
business knowledge
Extensive experience with customer relations
Thorough understanding of and experience with system assessments and
reviews
In-depth product, technology, industry or services-related specialized
skills
Leadership skills and ability to perform in a leadership role
