Job Title: Provisioner (SWAT Soft Switch Provisioning)
Job Skills:
· Requires a strong understanding of next generation telecom networks
and
supporting network elements. Experience with PSTN routing as well as
provisioning and translation processes is desired.
· Excellent project management, time management and interpersonal
skills are
essential as well as proficiency with MS Excel. Ability to use other MS
Office application and various front-end reporting tools such as Brio
and
Access is desirable. Prior T1/T3 and DS0 design experience. Basic
telephony
knowledge, including detailed knowledge of DS0, DS1 and DS3 is
required.
Job Description:
· The Provisioner is responsible for implementing and managing the
orders
for network capacity to support revenue forecasts and growth of the
Soft
Switch Voice and Modem networks.
· Provisioning responsibilities include implementing (design and ASR
issuance), monitoring, tracking and reporting on orders initiated by
Planning to build out or manage the capacity in the network.
· The Provisioner is expected to lead discussions with the vendor on
determining the ordering process and coordinating testing timeframes.
· The Provisioner is responsible for vendor management and maintaining
orders within the Organizations SLAÂ’s and the SLAÂ’s set within the
agreements with the vendor.
· The Provisioner is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving
routing
issues submitted via NOC and Planning Clarify cases, and resolving
within
the SLAÂ’s set forth for the organization
Daily Tasks:
· Provision and manage the deployment of capacity for new markets and
to
prevent/resolve existing congestion. This includes tracking all orders
in
queue from Planning hand-off to production status, and resolution of
jeopardies back to the provisioning organization or to the vendor by
the
test and turn-up organization.
· Troubleshoot and resolve routing issues within the Vendor network
which
impact the Organizations soft switch network and customers.
Auxiliary Tasks:
· Reporting of current state and progress of all network soft switch
orders.
Assist in developing tools, systems, processes and reporting for
provisioning.
Special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
Location: Broomfield, CO.
