EDI Systems Analyst

We are looking for an EDI Systems Analyst to join a great team. We recently
upgraded our ERP system to Oracle 11i, and are in need of an EDI Analyst/
Oracle BA to assist us in subsequently taking our EDI system to the next
level. The candidate that we are looking for must have the following
qualifications:



* Two years or more experience with EDI mapping, experience with
multiple transactions, trading partner setups, etc.

* Experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle Applications 11i
and knowledge of E-Commerce Gateway.

* Some knowledge of Oracle Order Management, Pricing, and Financials
modules is required.

* Must have some PL/SQL programming experience.

* Must have ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work
with our trading partners and meet required deadlines.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Some experience with Unix environment (HPUX preferred) and shell
scripting.

* Excellent problem solving skills.

* Experience with ProEDI is desirable.

* Must be available for occasional off hours support.

* Team Skills - Must have the ability to not only work with an I. S.
team but also with all other levels in the organization,

POSITION PURPOSE: Work closely with functional end users, IT technical
staff, and development team to implement, and support implemented ERP
Applications. To administer all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems
for the company, work with our trading partners to ensure that the optimum
processes are in place and implement EDI with new trading partners.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES


* Monitor, identify and resolve day-to-day EDI and ERP application
operations issues

* Install and configure trading partner data, scripts and new EDI
documents.

* Maintain strong trading partner relationships with EDI customers.

* Design, implement, and maintain supporting programs, test scripts
documentation, reports, backup, and redundancy procedures.

* Responsible for working irregular hours and responding to
after-hours emergency calls to handle EDI and ERP application system
problems.

* Work with Systems Administrator, DBA, Developer, and other
infrastructure team to coordinate EDI and ERP application upgrades,
patching, and tuning.

* Resolve any cross-functional issues with the development team and
end users.

* Develop ERP Applications and EDI functional testing plans, in
coordination with the development team and end users.





OTHER DUTIES

Assist the I.S. staff in some or all of the following:

* UNIX system administration supports
* Database supports
* Documentation

RESULTS OF ACTIONS

Ramifications of errors include loss of data, security lapses, system
downtime and recovery costs. Reports, decisions and transactions made from
incorrect information could cause substantial loss to the Company.





SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY


None



KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Two years minimum ERP system administrator work experience.

* Two years minimum direct experience with EDI process, EDI documents
and mappings, and EDI communications processing required.

* Must have exposure to supporting an Oracle Applications 11i or SAP
R3 implementation through GO-LIVE or production support.

* Unix commands and scripting experience required.

* Oracle ERP or SAP ERP system working experience required.

* Oracle E-commerce- Gateway experience

* Required excellent problem solving skills.

* Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and
meet required deadlines.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Strong team player.

* Pro*EDI experience desired.

* Prefer Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information
systems or an equivalent technical degree

* Familiar with Oracle Applications 11i or SAP with experiences in
either one of those areas: implementation, upgrade, or performance tuning.

* Works mainly in office environment with time spent in factory and
warehouse as needed.

* Must able to work from home when needed.
