Technology Company located in Downtown Denver.
We are looking for someone with the following skills:
Database Developer & Report Writer
Responsibilities
* Work with project managers and internal business partners on
creating and modifying custom business reports.
* Perform database development tasks including creating and
optimizing SQL, performing data imports, exports and general data
manipulation using DTS (SQL 2000) and SSIS (SQL 2005)
* Work closely with the architecture and development teams to
support the creation, and maintenance of databases that support
development projects.
* Establish and maintain database and reporting documentation.
Position Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a database developer or
high-end report writer.
* Ability to create business reports using reporting tools
including Microsoft Reporting Services. Experience with Crystal
Reports
a significant plus.
* Ability to write and modify existing stored procedures,
views, and query SQL tables.
* Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005
* Strong knowledge of relational database design and
implementation and an understanding of how database design affects
performance.
* Significant knowledge of t-SQL (PL/SQL a plus)
Desired Skills
* Solid understanding of entity relationship diagrams
* Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and
Microsoft reporting services.
* Experience with SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services to create
Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) cubes.
* Familiarity with fundamental wireless technologies including
SMS, MMS, WAP-Push, GSM, TDMA, CDMA, CDMA2000 (1xEV-DO), W-CDMA.
* Ability to manage time affectively and work in a team
environment.
