New Frontier Media, a worldwide VOD and PPV broadcasting network, is
searching for a Sr. Systems Administrator to support broadcast
operations at our corporate headquarters in Boulder, CO. A vital
position in a 24/7 broadcast environment reporting to the Director of
IT, this position Installs, configures, and maintains our organization's
operating systems. As well as, analyzes and resolves problems
associated with server hardware, applications software, and servers.
Responsibilities Include:
•Maintain network server and server application availability (Windows, Linux, Mac).
•Monitor domain events and archive logs.
•Monitor voicemail and associated voice server systems.
•Maintain hardware and assist in asset tracking.
•Maintain and perform security system changes, door access and reporting.
•Maintain corporate backup maintenance and tape rotation.
•Monitor and maintain storage systems (NAS and SAN).
•Performance analysis and tuning of systems.
•Automation of processes across all platforms.
•Mange, maintain and reinforce Emergency Recovery Plan (ERP).
•Create new and or maintain existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
•Respond to and resolve Helpdesk calls/tickets.
•Rotating On-Call 24x7 support.
Requirements:
•Qualified candidates will have a BS in Computer Science and a minimum
of 4 years experience in Systems Administration or equivalent of 7+
years applicable work experience

is searching for a Broadcast Operator I/II to support its Domestic and
International broadcasting operations for our corporate headquarters in
Boulder. This role supports the technical operation of our linear
Broadcast and monitoring of our OTT and web services. It requires
individuals that are able to focus and pay close attention to detail.
Working in a 24/7 environment, the Broadcast operator should be
technically inclined and have a comprehensive understanding of and
ability to operate broadcast equipment in a master control. They must
also possess strong communication skills with all supporting
departments, have the ability to work under pressure and solve problems
quickly. Individuals with curious minds, who have a strong desire to
take ownership and continuously learn, will be very successful in this
role.
Responsibilities:
•Demonstrated abilities to monitor quality of outgoing signals
•Report equipment problems and perform emergency workaround to keep Networks operational
•Use analytical thinking to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems.
•Must be reliable, responsible, dependable and work well with other team members
•Learn and update knowledge on internal "signal paths" and fiber and
satellite distribution of our linear broadcast Networks. Use such
information to assist our affiliates and distribution partners in issue
resolution
•Capable of accepting, understanding and logging incident reports
containing limited information and subsequently translating that
information into a timely and full incident resolution and or correction
•Communicate to shift any changes to procedures and provide SOP training and documentation as required.
•Available and able to work as required, in support of a 7 day, 24 hour, 365 day operating environment
•Assist and provide input in conjunction with troubleshooting any operational or technical issues
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
•Clear, concise, effective written and verbal communication skills

•Highly organized self-starter with an eye for detail who can maintain multiple ongoing processes simultaneously
•Degree in a Broadcast, Engineering, Computer Science or other technical discipline preferred.

•Candidate must have an understanding of an on-air broadcast environment and a current working knowledge of television systems
•Ability to take full accountability and ownership to their environment
•Must be able to effectively take the ownership to develop skills and understanding

•Degree from a recognized Broadcast Television College or University
•Visual acuity (8-10 hours viewing multiple computer and video monitors)
