EchoStar - Integration Engineer

Summary:
As part of the Commercial Insertion Architecture, Design and Testing team, this position will be responsible for planning and executing testing for the Existing and Future CI platform. Currently focused on the Invidi platform and executing tests for future releases to ensure correct functionality before deployments to production occur. In addition responsibility for maintaining the test environments, troubleshooting problems and working closely with the Business and Operational teams as needed.  Must be detail oriented and willing to work shifts.  EchoStar is a 24/7/365 operation and this job may require working non-business hours for an extended basis.

Responsibilities:
  *  Focused on test execution, documentation and reporting for the CI Platform
  *  Working with the Team to design and execute test campaigns
  *  Develop technical & Operational understanding of the platform
  *  Support the Operational team with production issues as needed
  *  Provide Technical support the Test Environments
  *  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  *  Meet deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.

Basic Requirements:
  *  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four years related experience and/or training;  or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  *  2+ years' experience conducting Software, HW and/or Integration Tests
  *  Willing and able to work any shift assigned as dictated by the needs on the business
  *  This Position will have 0-10% travel from Denver to our Uplink Centers (Cheyenne, WY & Gilbert, AZ) as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
  *  Experience with the EchoStar Testing Environment, and Invidi Platform.
  *  Experience with Video Compression, MPEG and Satellite Broadcasting.
  *  Experience with Commercial Insertion technologies and Business Operations
