AT&T is looking for an Exadata/DBA Technical Lead to join our Hosting & Application Services Department!
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Advise and provide guidance on migrating existing Oracle databases into Exadata. Advise and provide guidance on Oracle RAC technology. Configure machines to meet internal security requirements. Experience in installing and configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c. Provide advice and guidance on leveraging OEM12c as a solution for centralized and proactive maintenance. Software and firmware maintenance of Database Server Machines, including upgrades and patching. Software and firmware maintenance of Exadata Storage Cells, including upgrades and patching. Software and firmware maintenance of InfiBand switches, including upgrades and patching. Provide and implement performance and tuning recommendations of all components in the Database Machines.
The ideal Exadata/DBA Client Technical Lead should have strong Linux expertise as well as Volume manager, Oracle RAC, ASM and networking skills. The individual should have previous experience with all aspects of designing/implementing Exadata solutions. Candidate must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Provide support for the global Production and Non-Production Oracle Exadata environments, to include fault resolution and change implementation. Provide Oracle Exadata and RDBMS technical support, advice and guidance to customers. Make recommendations with regard to aspects of Oracle Exadata systems infrastructure (e.g. performance, security, networking, usability).

Required Qualifications 5-8+ years related technical architect experience.
5-8+ years experience with Oracle implementation, installation and administration
1-2 years experience with Oracle Exadata X2-2, X3-2
Experience with Oracle 11g RAC database installation and administration
Experience with Linux OS
Experience with installing and configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c (OEM12c)
Experience with ASM IORM
Proficient in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP Network Address Management, Performance Management).
Knowledge of data center infrastructure (including blade center design, data warehouse design, Ebusiness/web hosting design, etc.)
Proficient in data communications protocols (TCP/IP, v4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, GMPLS, etc.)
Desired Qualifications - Experience with Golden Gate
Experience with Data guard
AS degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field
Experience in building multiple versions of large customer facing systems addressing performance and scale.
Develops technical documentation on applications and systems
Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
