Business Analyst

Essential Functions: 1) Analysis of business and user needs, documenting
requirements, business rule and scenarios, user interface documents, and
user guides for systems changes and enhancements. 2) Acts as liaison
between clients, operations and technical staff. 3) Gathers information
and performs research and analysis. 4) Identification of test scenarios
and the development of test scripts for system changes. 5) Conducts
testing to certify changes to the system. 6) Serves as project lead for
medium or large size projects. 7 Trains clients and operations on new
system features and capabilities. 8) Mentors other Business Analysts on
processes, techniques and system knowledge.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or commensurate
experience.

Experience: 3 to 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Systems
Analyst from another industry or detailed working knowledge of several
system functions. Good working knowledge of word processing and
spreadsheet tools, SQL, HTML, Doc-To-Help, Adobe Acrobat, and the
Internet.

Skills: - Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. -
Ability to work with both technical staff and clients. - Consensus
building. - Multi-tasking. - Able to work independently

5280 Solutions, an NDS company, is looking for an Infrastructure Staff
Manager that has experience overseeing a dynamic team of ~10
Infrastructure or Development professionals. The ideal candidate will
have come up through the technical ranks and moved into a management
role where leadership is their top priority. Prior experience with Voice
and Data technologies is needed and ideally with Cisco, I3 and IVR.
Excellent communication skills are required in addition to solid

SUMMARY: Supervises, instructs, assists, directs, and checks the work
product of a department or unit. May be involved in the development of
associates through coaching, objective setting, training, and
performance monitoring and management.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Have full supervisory responsibilities as a first
line leader. Works closely with other leadership team members to
establish and meet client, organizational, and team goals. 2.Serves as a
liaison among operation teams, clients, and other technology teams.
3.Builds relationships with multiple levels of the organization.
4.Develops team members' skills by providing real time coaching.
5.Presents and discusses technical information in a way that establishes
a rapport, gains understanding, and persuades others when appropriate.
6.Proactively keeps leadership team and clients apprised of issue status
and resolution. 7.Facilitates and leads team meetings. 8.Works with and
aligns resources to participate in technical assignments and balance
multiple project priorities. Determines and modifies workload allocation
to ensure efficiency. 9.Assists in the analysis and understanding of
client business needs and requirements on work assignments; facilitates
team member understanding as well. 10.May share the responsibility for
the development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of
policies and procedures. 11.May participate in the hiring process via
reviewing resumes and participating in interviews. 12.Provides input to
the budget process.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or commensurate
experience.
EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years experience in software development industry
with a strong expertise in at least one key competency. 2 to 3 years
experience as a technical or development lead with a demonstrated
ability of successful team leadership.
