Primary Duties: The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for the testing and verification of an internet/web-based telematics solution to be used in the construction industry, based in Westminster Colorado.
Responsibilities include: - validation of requirements - creation and execution of manual test plans - develop automation scripts - back-end system white box testing experience - front-end black box testing experience.
The Software Test Engineer will work closely with product management and engineering teams. Must possess a positive attitude, a great work ethic and willingness to see projects through to completion. This is a hands-on role, with team leadership ability and experience highly desired.
Education requirements: BS degree preferred
Experience requirements (years): 5
Skill requirements: Ability to create test plans directly from requirements. Experience with the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts in a fast-paced dynamic environment is a must. Experience with testing back-end systems without a GUI and the ability to directly query SQL databases and file contents to confirm testing results are key to succeeding in this role. Team leadership ability and experience is highly desired
