Immediate Opening: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Greenwood Village
Employment Status: Fulltime

SUMMARY

Assists with and independently formulates and defines systems scope through research and fact-finding, combined with an understanding of business need, impacts to business systems, and industry requirements. Documents requirements, translating them into a traceability matrix (in conjunction with Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers) in addition to other documentation deliverables. Further develops or modifies complex information systems

JOB DUTIES

Work with a team of analysts, testers, operations, business, IT, and others to develop all necessary business analysis materials for multiple projects. Materials created should minimally include formal business requirements, business and system process flows, traceability matrices and other materials driven by project need.

Solve complex problems, conduct business process and system analyses, business needs assessments, and cost-benefit measurements. Assess near-term and long-term needs to establish business priorities. Consult with technical subject matter experts, business leaders, and end-users to develop business and technical solutions.

Review all project deliverables and trace business requirements through the entire project lifecycle, culminating in a final review of user acceptance testing reports, to ensure all business requirements have been met. Work with the team to remedy any concerns during the course of the project. Obtain sign-off from business leaders on materials.

Execute quality assurance testing and employ best practices for business analysis testing. Proactively identify and recommend changes to enhance the effectiveness of business analysis strategies.

Document business practices and processes for key operational systems. Assist with defining and developing process workflows, especially for system enhancements. Research and analyze project impacts on workflow and make recommendations for workflow adjustments and training as appropriate

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of progressive broad-based information systems and business analysis experience
Solid healthcare experience with an emphasis in the pharmacy space is preferred
Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and user acceptance testing methodologies
Strong leadership skills and experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player
Superb analysis and critical thinking skills
Ability to receive general objectives and operate with limited independence
