The Revenue Assurance department has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst. The primary responsibilities of the position include performing audits in a transactional environment and translating requirements into actionable reports and/or audits. Developing strong working relationships with their business finance and billing counterparts and the business partners is a critical component of the job.
Prior analysis and reporting experience, proficiency with MS Office Suite including Project and Access, strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently is all required. The ability to translate requirements into actionable reports and audits will be critical to succeeding in this role. Knowledge of Billing and Financial systems such as Kenan and Oracle are all highly desired. Experience with SQL and Brio is also desired.
The ideal candidate will be capable of prioritizing and seeing through competing tasks, working independently, applying strong analytical focus to all responsibilities, and looking for innovative approaches to solutions. Work load will be cyclical in order to meet the demands of deadlines and month end cycles- time management skills are very important.
The ideal candidate should possess:
3 years + experience in Business Analysis, especially as it relates to Financial Operations and/or Telecommunications.
Minimum Level of Education: Bachelors Degree * Computer Science, Business, Math or equivalent experience.
Recommended Additional Specialized Coursework: Operations Management, Information Systems, and Accounting.
Bachelors degree in IT or Finance required previous experience in Telecom preferred. Comfortable using MS Office, MS Access, Excel, SQL/SQL tools and querying databases.
