coding standards into healthcare information technology (HCIT)
applications. HLI's Language Engine(r) (LE(r)) allows centralized
access to medical terminology standards and generates mappings to create
a common pool of standardized codes and concepts that enhance patient
safety, facilitate clinical outcomes analysis and accelerate
reimbursement.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Content Analyst



Job Summary: Health Language is currently seeking a Content Analyst to
add to its growing Content Department. The Content Analyst will work
with the Director of Content Management to ensure the proper evaluation
and development of content projects and deliverables. This position
offers a unique opportunity for a coding professional to work within a
team that creates medical coding content for products deployed to payers
and providers. Health Language is looking for a highly motivated person
who enjoys researching coding updates as defined by national
authorities, and generating both standard and customized mappings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide coding and industry expertise to help create and
maintain coding standards

* Assist with research to identify opportunities for new content
and product development

* Assure compliance with any regulatory or accrediting
organizations regarding clinical edits

* Work with the development and operations teams to make
necessary refinements/improvements in processes or technology that will
maximize the effectiveness of Health Language's products

* Work with the Director of Content Management to provide coding
and clinical expertise support for customer and provider inquiries,
questions, challenges or appeals

* Implement training and documentation for user needs



Reports To: Director of Content Management



Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Characteristics:

* CPC, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P certification required

* Bachelor's degree; RHIA/RHIT preferred

* Minimum five years experience required

* Strong coding skills using domestic code sets required, e.g.,
(HCPCS, APC, CPT, ICD-9-CM and more) Knowledge of international code
sets desired, e.g., (OPCS, ICD-10, HRG, EBM, GOA and more)

* Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of
reimbursement/revenue cycle management

* Technical computer skills required

* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office

* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong team-work focus

* Ability to work independently

* Must be able to manage timelines and multiple projects

* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information,
perform analyses and identify solutions to resolve specific business
issues

* Customer-service oriented

* Willingness to embrace new opportunities, and has a passion
for technology

* Proactive, rather than reactive, at solving problems
