Senior Accountant – General Accounting

We seek an experienced, results-driven Senior Accountant who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced business environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

· Act as team leader for Oracle improvements for accounting

· Work with Senior Technical Accounting Manager in reviewing purchase contracts for proper accounting treatment under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ensuring proper application through Oracle system

· Responsible for preparation and analysis of general monthly accruals including both recurring and one time operational expenses

· Responsible for timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis for responsibility areas

· Assist with assigned areas for quarterly internal financial package and quarterly financial review with auditors

· For areas of responsibility, drive system and business process enhancements to improve efficiency of processing data and proper period recognition of expenses as well as developing analysis that supports and analyzes the story of the financials

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience

· Must be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles with solid knowledge of US GAAP requirements

· CPA certification highly desired (or in process)

· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills a must

· Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm preferred

· Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

· Oracle experience is highly desirable

· Information systems and database understanding is highly preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred

· High energy, deadline and results-oriented achiever, and a team player

· Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment and be willing to “roll-up her/his sleeves” to lead organizational change

· Experience in a start-up environment is desirable

Administrative Assistant, Sales

Webroot is seeking a highly motivated, organized and client-focused Administrative Assistant to provide organizational support for up to two Sr. Executives on the Webroot leadership team. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, will be an excellent multi-tasker, and must be able to interact well at all levels of the organization while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Sr. Executives to provide consistent, high volume support across a wide range of topics
Relieve the Sr. Executives of administrative tasks including complex schedule management, travel arrangements, and meeting / event coordination
Assure discreet handling of all confidential business
Manage monthly expense reports, to ensure accurate posting and tracking
Utilize MS Office Suite and similar tools to create and modify presentations, data files, formulas, pivot tables, and pictures

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years experience as an Executive/Administrative Assistant, or related title/role, supporting a senior executive of a major organization
Excellent PC skills including proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Oracle, Adobe, and other related software
Proven ability to make well thought-out and timely decisions while completing a high volume of tasks and projects with limited guidance
Demonstrated history of working independently and proactively, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and working collaboratively as a member of the team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills in sensitive and confidential situations
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred
Experience working within a technology / software development company is a plus
