Senior Business Analyst

This Senior Business Analyst will be working within the Enterprise Strategy and Communications Team in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office (near I25 & Orchard).

· Will develop detailed market and functional specifications for new products or solutions and/or feature enhancements to existing products.
· Assist in market and product research, documenting user enhancement requests, assisting with and reviewing product documentation, and assisting testing teams with the development of use testing use cases.
· Will work with a broad range of people within TriZetto and within our customer base and requires a high energy, self directed and highly detail oriented individual.
o Working with solution leadership, engineering architects and customers in the development of requirements for new solutions and existing product enhancements
o Communicate the business and technical capabilities of new solutions - internally and externally.
o Engage with customers to understand and document their business needs and process flows and to obtain feedback on our designs.
o Research and analyze business needs for enhancements and impacts to existing products emerging from new solutions.
o Document business requirements for new solutions - working from conception to reality
o Convert business requirements into specific functional requirements and specifications
o Assist in the design of functional graphical user prototypes that reflect the way our customers will use the product
o Support the testing function with the development of end to end uses cases and user scenarios to illustrate expected real world utilization of the new solution(s)
o Participate in functional design sessions
o Assist the documentation by reviewing technical and product overview documentation
o Work with and support early release customers
o Assist with market research activities
o Perform other duties as required

Required experience:
Must have previous experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare Payer space developing business requirements, with a very strong understanding of the payer/provider relationship and healthcare delivery system-specifically an understanding of the billing cycle between payers and providers.
o Bachelors degree
o 3 years experience in the healthcare industry with a strong understanding of the health care delivery system and finance model
o Familiarity with provider office workflows
o Experience developing software product requirements and complete understanding of and experience with the software development lifecycle and product release schedules
o Self motivated and self directed individual
o Flexibility to enable working with multiple teams using potentially multiple development and team management approaches
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
o MS Office including Visio and Project
o Comfortable working in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
o Ability to travel up to 25%
o Highly Desirable
o Familiarity with TriZetto products
o Familiarity with systems and data integration concepts - J2EE and SOA
o Detailed understanding of health care coding
o Familiarity with health care EDI, CORE
