Responsibilities
Apply Object-Oriented principles in designing and implementing OO applications.
Build Web and non-Web based applications using J2EE components on a J2EE(Weblogic/Tomcat) Servers.
Apply Object-Oriented principles in designing and implementing OO applications.
Build Web and non-Web based applications using J2EE components on a J2EE(Weblogic/Tomcat) Servers.
Application of Open-Source frameworks.
Actively participate in the code reviews and aid in delivering quality code.
Build O-O frameworks to avoid repeatable processes and increase coding efficiency.
Innovate ways to shorten code development cycles and increase productivity.
Write JDBC/ODBC application to interact with databases.
Education
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Experience
8+ years of hands-on JEE development
Skills
Hands-on experience in the following:
Use of JEE Application Servers (Weblogic or WebSphere or JBoss or Tomcat)
JEE development (Servlets, EJBs, MDBs, JMS)
Open Source Frameworks/Tools (Spring, Maven/Ant, JUnit/Cactus, JMeter, Log4J)
XML Processing (SAX, DOM, Schema, JAXB, Castor)
Linux/UNIX
Oracle/MySQL (JDBC)
