Senior Software Test Engineer

Duties
· Effectively collaborate with the engineering team by reporting test case results and defects
· Improve the quality of the product by finding a large volume of quality defects
· Produce test cases
· Interface with stakeholders to get closure on defects
· Assist performance testing efforts, especially those cases impacting reliability
· Assist automation efforts, including test authoring
· Capable of leading initiatives and other personnel
Responsibilities
· 5+ years as a test engineer or test lead
· 2+ years of Java
· 2+ years of relational database & SQL experience
· Linux and Windows platform experience
· Exceptional troubleshooting skills & QA Process Understanding
· Experience with automated testing infrastructures (Junit, Ant, CruiseControl, Hudson, etc.)
· 1+ years of Python or similar scripting tools (Perl, RoR, Groovy)
· Familiarity with hardware/firmware testing a plus
· BS/MS in EE/CE or equivalent required
