ITT Visual Information Solutions is a leader in software solutions that
create exceptional value for medical, remote sensing and scientific
customers in government, commercial, research and development, and
academic communities.
We are seeking a creative, highly-motivated individual to join our
fast-paced IT development team. Qualified candidates must have proven
application development skills, and be able to effectively gather
requirements from internal customers and convert them into reliable
solutions. Candidates must have a strong portfolio of personally
developed web sites, applications and DNN modules.
Duties will include application and web development in VB.NET, ASP.NET,
HTML/ASP and SQL Server 2000/2005. The successful applicant will be
responsible for configuring and/or extending DNN core functionality and
third-party modules. Other responsibilities include writing and
maintaining requirement, design and maintenance documentation.
Required Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
* 4+ years' ASP.NET / VB.NET development experience
* 2+ years' DNN Module Development
* 4+ years' HTML / DHTML / XML / JavaScript / AJAX web
development experience
* 4+ years' SQL Server development skills, including stored
procedures, triggers and advanced query writing
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Strong working knowledge of software development
methodologies, design, implementation and quality assurance best
practices
* Strong research and data analysis skills
* Advanced knowledge of Windows XP/Vista
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
* CRM implementation and customization experience
* C/C++ development experience
* Advanced database administration and performance tuning
* Source Control knowledge, Visual SourceSafe preferred
