ITT Visual Information Solutions is a leader in software solutions that
create exceptional value for medical, remote sensing and scientific
customers in government, commercial, research and development, and
academic communities.
We are looking for a Project Manager to facilitate the execution of one
or more software projects as an Agile Scrum Master. This is a beginning
scrum master position requiring 1-3 years of experience. The scrum
master performs a variety of project support tasks such as updating
burndown charts, reporting metrics and managing backlog. The scrum
master also facilitates scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews
and sprint retrospectives. In addition, the scrum master
coordinates/communicates across groups to provide on-time, quality
deliverables that meet customer expectations. Two key activities of the
scrum master are to provide guidance for team activities through
leadership and to support project/team goals.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-3 years' experience as a software Project Manager using Agile
techniques within a technical environment
* Must have experience as a scrum master facilitating multiple
scrum teams
* Experience coaching and mentoring teams/individuals is required
as well as good relationship-building skills
* Ability to learn and understand software applications quickly
* Excellent communication, organizational, oral, written and
presentation skills
* Strong interpersonal and cross-team coordination skills
* Bachelor's Degree in a science field or equivalent experience
required
