About the Role:
As an integral member of our service desk team you are responsible for
Tier I application, system and service support – you are the voice
of the organization with our customers. Your friendly and outgoing
nature, calm demeanor and meticulous follow through will be a welcome
addition to the team as we move toward a true service delivery group
– not just a help desk.
What you'll be doing:
* Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues
* Digging into problems and using all available information resources
to solve the problems
* Using your natural curiosity to communicate with internal
customers and external business partners to gain a comprehensive
understanding of their issue
* Making sure that all touch points with your customers are friendly,
courteous and helpful
* Making sure that all incident reports are documented thoroughly so
that your production team can resolve any systemic issues
* Supporting your team wherever necessary
What we're looking for from you:
* A minimum of 2 years experience supporting Microsoft products,
network connectivity, hardware and proprietary applications
* Clear, crisp and understandable written and verbal communication
* A passion for delighting customers
* A creative and curious nature – wired to systematically work
through problems toward the desired outcome without losing your cool
* Ability to switch priorities quickly – you are energized by
working in a fast paced environment
* An understanding of the ITIL foundation – certification would
be awesome!
