Summary

Assist the Manager of Accounts Receivable with both the daily Oracle AR operations and with the investigation/analysis of system and process issues/anomalies. Prepare accurate and reliable AR information, processing AR transactions and master data in an accurate, complete, and timely manner. Responsible for specific AR-centric reporting functions such as the Schools and Libraries Program and unclaimed property. Maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations via online system.
Essential Duties

* Assist Manager with documentation of receipt processes and systems for credit cards, ACHs, wires, check lockboxes, bank clearing houses, and customer portal payments.

* Prepare Blackline general ledger reconciliations for the accounts receivable sub-ledger GL accounts and other accounts as assigned.

* Provide testing and training support for Oracle Accounts Receivable module releases and enhancements.

* Maintain files and worksheets for customer reimbursement programs such as the ERATE schools and libraries program and assists the Manager with program administration. Calculate and process customer credit memos or payments. Contacts customers as needed for credit research.

* Support the AR team with daily management of the departmental mailbox including task routing, customer record maintenance and routing follow up.

* Prepare accounts receivable receipts, applications, credit memos, refunds and intercompany activities as needed to support global cash receipts processes.

* Assist the manager with the unclaimed property process including state regulation research, credit research, maintenance of unclaimed property files, dormancy notification letters/responses and state filings.



Education and Experience

* Experience: 5 yrs

* Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

* Field Of Study: Accounting or finance

* A combination of education and experience is acceptable: Yes
