Summary

As an expert on the ERP production support global team, this position will provide support to various functional Oracle modules, engage directly with end users in understanding, analyzing and resolving issues. This expert will also participate in ongoing Oracle strategic global projects Level 3 has undertaken, by participating actively in testing, issue resolution, process expertise and best practices to ensure successful deployment of the solutions the company looks forward to deploy.
Essential Duties

* Ensure that system issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner in support of the Accounting, Finance and SCM teams.

* Act in a lead role on various functional teams and the IT Development and DBA teams on complex system issues, enhancements and projects.

* Lead the accounting and finance teams in researching, documenting, and resolving complex functional issues relating to the Oracle Applications Financial Suite.

* Participate in the various global Projects and enhancements the ERP Team is responsible for.

* Work with the functional teams to evaluate and develop detailed documentation of system enhancements and business cases supporting the enhancement requests.



Education and Experience


* Experience: 7 yrs

* Education Level: Bachelor's Degree

* Field Of Study: IT or Finance

* A combination of education and experience is acceptable: Yes

* Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.

* Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

*Extensive experience with Oracle R12 Modules, including but not limited to AP, AR, GL, HR, Payroll, Discoverer, OBI, Procurement, Inventory Management, Asset Management, or a combination of these.

* Experience in multiple projects, rollouts, upgrades and companies

* Experience working in a global environment

* Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.

* Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.

* Knowledge of Spanish a BIG plus

Ideal candidates should have a Finance or Accounting degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial operations (i.e., a strong accounting foundation is a must). In addition, candidates should have experience working in a customer support role, experience with the Oracle Financial Applications, and enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment. This position works with and coordinates activities among persons in finance, accounting, auditing, and IT; excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills are a must. Candidates should also have a high competency in Excel, SQL/PLSQL and Discoverer.

Work Environment

Sits five to seven hours per day. Stands and or walks one to three hours per day. May bend, reach, stoop and crouch throughout the day. Should have the ability to hear, speak and see effectively to perform the necessary tasks of this position. Manual dexterity is occasionally required. The position may require frequent movement and activity relating to using keyboards, viewing data on computer displays, and communicating verbally and in writing to the needs of others. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
