The Protocol / Forwarding Infrastructure Engineer will get to understand the "big picture" and to contribute in helping develop and deliver the next generation products and features.
Responsibilities:

- Analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver high quality software using the latest technologies and innovations in a timely manner
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into engineering requirements
- Review and sign off on requirements documents
- Write functional and design specification documents and drive sign-off
- Interface with developers, QA, Documentation & Customer Support teams as needed
- Architect, design, develop, test, or troubleshoot features or functions
- Interact cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines
- Participate in full product life cycle development
Qualifications:

- BS / MS in EE / CS with 3+ years of related industry experience developing in 'C'
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming and trouble shooting skills required
- Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
- Must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously in large teams
Skilled in two or more of the following:
- Strong background in data structures and algorithm design
- Good knowledge of basic OS features like Multi-threading, synchronization and memory management on Linux or Linux-like Operating systems
- Proficient in software development tools, source code control environment
- Conversant in embedded software development tools and debuggers
- Working knowledge of traffic generators and protocol analyzers
- Experience working in high performance and highly scalable environments
- Experience in multicore CPU, SMP, network processor environment
- Experience architecting, designing or implementing complex software systems in a large team environment

Oracle - Encryption Software Developer
The Core I-O team is an enterprise class team developing crypto support for tape, disk and databases.
We design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
Encryption Engineer -
Needed skills:
- PKCS#11, KMIP, AES and other encryption related experience.
- Java programming
- Familiarity implementing crypto-related services including key management interfaces
Plus:
- Experience with Solaris OS
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
