Catholic Health Initiatives in Englewood, Colorado is seeking a
Project Manager to join our National IT Center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, analysis,
design, implementation support and status presentations of approved
strategic and tactical projects. This position will coordinate the
activities of project teams engaged in the evaluation, development
and implementation of systems using the CHI project management
methodology and tools. Additionally they develop procedures and
provide written documentation, as needed, for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Defines and manages the scope of assigned projects and all
associated resources.
Manages toward quality outcomes on projects using approved
methodologies and standard tools.
Develops and manages project capital and operating budgets.
Coordinates and provides internal and external project
communications.
Establishes transition to production support for daily operations
and issue escalation; software updates; changes to profiles,
dictionaries or other user-defined parameters; and backup and
recovery procedures.
Manages the set-up of production support for daily operations and

Travels as required to manage phases of projects.
Provides input in the development and hiring process of project team
members.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
related field, or significant experience in Information Systems
field required.

Experience:
Two years experience in an information technology analyst role and a
minimum of two years experience in a project management role
required.
Experience in a complex, multi-function environment required.
Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following
areas:
Ability to manage and work on multiple projects at the same time
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions
Knowledge of industry standard practices in healthcare services
Financial management skills
Knowledge of broad range of communication technologies and
technology platforms
Addendums:

Financial & Administrative Applications:
Specific knowledge of financial and administrative business
functions required.

License/Certification:
Project Management Certification through PMI or other accredited
institution is preferred.
Incumbent should expect to pursue project management certification
through PMI as part of career development plan if he/she has not
already obtained.
