ShopAtHome.com is seeking a talented JavaScript Software Engineer to join the engineering team at ShopAtHome.com. The person in this position will work with several top notch engineers to enhance the most popular shopping browser application/extension on the web. * Work with a great team of software engineers, QA testers and web designers
* Use leading edge technology to develop and enhance ShopAtHome.com
* Interact with Marketing professionals in a fast paced dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the agile development teams
* Create and implement enhancements to the ShopAtHome.com browser application software
* Develop cross-browser/cross-platform JavaScript code
* Insert user messaging into the Document Object Model (DOM)
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of JavaScript and jQuery experience
* Strong XML skills
* Strong HTML, CSS, AJAX experience
* Experience writing software to communicate with Web Services
* Cross-browser and platform independent knowledge
* Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
* Experience with full life-cycle software development
* SQL (writing queries to read and write data)
Additional experience that would be a plus:
* Developing web services with C#
* Experience developing ASP.NET/C# on various browsers (IE, FF, Chrome)
* Ideally, experience developing Firefox, Chrome, and/or Safari browser extensions
* Regular Expressions
* CSS3 & HTML5
